This Medical Disclaimer explains how our coordination support works alongside your healthcare team, including communication, medical decisions, and urgent situations.
Effective date: 14 September 2026. Last updated: 14 September 2026.
1. Our Role Alongside Your Healthcare Team
ChinaCare Concierge is operated by 天津康捷陪诊服务有限公司, based in Tianjin, China. We help international patients and families with communication, interpretation, and practical arrangements around care in China. Within the support we agree to provide, we help you communicate with the healthcare team and navigate the visit process, so you know who can assist with each next step.
Medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment are provided by healthcare institutions authorized to provide those services and licensed healthcare professionals acting within their permitted scope. ChinaCare Concierge does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency medical services, medical advice, prescriptions, or clinical nursing. Our staff and coordination partners act in their agreed non-clinical roles when providing our concierge services.
2. General Information and Advice from Your Clinician
General information we prepare for the website, articles, FAQs, or inquiry replies is intended to help you understand services and plan practical arrangements. It does not assess your individual medical condition or replace advice from your treating clinician. A description of a hospital, checkup, or procedure does not establish that it is clinically suitable for you.
When we forward a hospital's response or translate a clinician's advice, we will make the source clear and faithfully convey the information. That medical opinion remains the opinion of the originating healthcare provider. Questions about its clinical meaning, risks, or suitability should be discussed with that provider; we can help facilitate that communication within our agreed role.
3. Understanding Your Doctor's Explanation
When interpretation or translation is included in your service, we can help you express questions and faithfully convey the healthcare team's explanations of results, treatment options, or instructions. If medical wording is unclear, we will help you seek clarification from the relevant healthcare professional.
Our coordinators and interpreters do not independently interpret your condition, recommend treatment, decide how medication should be taken, or alter clinical instructions. Those judgments belong to the healthcare team. We remain responsible for the translation and communication work we agree to undertake; this distinction does not excuse errors in our own work.
4. Medical Decisions and Informed Consent
Your healthcare provider explains proposed care, relevant risks, and available alternatives. Medical decisions and consent are handled by the patient or a person legally entitled to act for the patient, in accordance with applicable law and hospital procedures. Family involvement alone does not authorize someone to make decisions for a competent adult. Emergency medical decisions follow the applicable legal and hospital procedures.
We can assist with communication about medical consent documents and help you ask questions. Our staff do not accept appointments to make medical decisions or sign medical consent documents on your behalf. Administrative assistance, such as collecting a report, can be arranged with appropriate authorization and in accordance with hospital rules; it does not include authority to decide your treatment.
5. Treatment Expectations and Hospital Arrangements
Your healthcare team can explain the expected benefits, risks, and uncertainties of proposed care in light of your circumstances. Individual outcomes and recovery times vary. Our coordination service does not promise a particular diagnosis, treatment result, or recovery timeline.
Hospital acceptance, appointments, doctor schedules, and bed availability are confirmed by the relevant healthcare provider. Where we are coordinating these arrangements, we will relay confirmations and communicate relevant changes when we become aware of them, along with any practical alternatives available within our agreed role.
6. Getting Urgent Medical Help
If you have an urgent medical concern, contact local emergency services or a hospital immediately. Please do not delay seeking medical care while waiting for an email or consultation response from us. Our website and inquiry channels are not emergency response services.
During an accompanied visit, if you become unwell, we will help alert hospital staff or local emergency services and, where appropriate, notify your designated contact. Medical assessment, triage, and treatment are provided by the healthcare team. Ordinary concierge transport does not include ambulance or medical transport services.
7. Sharing Information for Your Inquiry
Please start with the practical support you need, such as location, timing, language, or accompaniment. Do not submit complete medical records, identity documents, diagnostic reports, imaging files, or other highly sensitive materials through the first website form.
If further information is necessary for a later request, we will explain its purpose, arrange an appropriate submission process, and obtain any required consent or authorization. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
8. Our Commitments and Related Terms
Our Service Boundary explains the practical support available and how arrangements are confirmed. Fees, payment, travel arrangements, cancellations, and refunds are addressed in the relevant service confirmation or contract and our Terms of Service.
This statement explains the roles of medical providers and coordination services. It does not remove our responsibility for the services we have agreed to provide or limit your rights under applicable law. If something in our communication or coordination is unclear or appears incorrect, please contact us so we can review it and help address the issue.

ChinaCare Concierge
